I think this poem embodies the full concept of summer. It talks about climbing trees, running, playing, eating watermelons, and skinning your knees. It talks about the fact that when you are young and blissful, anything is possible, even unicorns. It celebrates the niaveness of children in full on summer bliss. One of the greatest things I remember about my childhood summers is compeating in watermelon eating contests at the beach with my brother. We wore our bathing suits because we would gobble down the watermelon and get very sticky in the process. After the contests (which I have only won once, me and my brother were the only ones compeating) we would cannonball into the pool. We would chase each other through the water, and get out within 5 minutes, normally, because we were so full of watermelon. One of the greatest things about summer was that contest and the swim afterward. It also talks about skinng knees and climbing trees (which me and my brother did plenty of in our summers). There was a tree at the end of our steet which was very big, tall, and strong. We climbed up there on most summer days. My brother was always the daring one that made it to the top and then got scared to come down. I spent most of my time getting him down, skinning both of our knees in the cumbersome process. We were both very sad when they had to prune the tree back, which cut off most of our far up hidaways. My summers were always best spent with my brother, daydreaming and running around. Summers were always most fun like that.
I think this poem fully sums up summer for me in the gift of a watermelon pickle.

Fluoride is a very important addition to toothpaste, mouthwash, and even water. It helps prevent tooth decay and make your teeth substantially stronger. There are side affects such as white flecks on your teeth. If the fluoride level is too high there could be such results as brown spots and bone disease. I am concerned about these side affects because it means that even if the fluoride level goes up by 1 ppm. my teeth and bones could be affected.
I am, however, confident in the advances made in fluoride sciences. There are many types of fluoride safe to use in toothpastes and mouthwashes and I am confident there will be more. Critical studies had to be conducted in order for fluoride to be used in anything. Scientists had to figure out abrasives that would combine with hydrofluoric acid in order to make fluoride safe for drinking or brushing your teeth with.
Many people disapprove of the fluoridation of water because they do not want to take any risks with their teeth, no matter how small. I think that fluoride should be added to water but closely watched in order to maintain safe levels. Fluoride is helping more than hurting! I think that the pro’s, compared with the con’s, are much more substantial.
I think fluoride is a good addition to water and toothpaste. Is fluoride helping or hurting? I think it is most defiantly helping!
